The metal blade is a lead or alloy vibrating lure worked linearly or vertically: its high density allows fast sinking, its fins or fish-eye profile create the characteristic vibration that draws inshore pelagics and big freshwater zander.
You will find vibrating blades for sea bass and amberjack (15 to 60 g, worked linearly or in lift-and-drop), jigging blades for vertical saltwater work (up to 200 g), blades for zander fishing in reservoirs and large rivers (vertical use), plus specialised tropical blades for exotic fishing. Colours are tuned to match local sand-eels and sardines.
