The spoon is one of the oldest artificial lures: its convex metal body produces a characteristic erratic swim that mimics a forage fish in distress. Simple, reliable, inexpensive to replace after a break, the spoon remains a must-have for trout, pike and perch in fresh water, and several saltwater species (sea bass, amberjack, pollack).
You will find ondulating spoons (wide pendulum motion, ideal for pike and zander), spinner spoons (blade pivoting around the shaft, deadly on trout and perch), vibrating spoons for long-distance casting, and saltwater spoons (heavy, for shore casting or boat fishing). Weights span from 1 g (mountain trout) to 100 g+ (boat amberjack).
This section is mainly composed of the Flashmer range (ondulating and spinner spoons), complemented by Crazee, JB, Ecoline and Solvkroken on certain specific references.
