Spinnerbaits and chatterbaits are composite lures combining a jig head, a silicone skirt and a vibrating element (rotating blade for the spinnerbait, oscillating plate for the chatterbait). Originally designed for bass fishing, they have progressively gained ground in French waters for pike, zander and sea bass.
You will find classic spinnerbaits (Colorado blades for wide vibrations, Willow blades for finesse, double blades for aggressive prospecting), chatterbaits with stainless plate for a sharper vibratory signal, surface buzzbaits (propeller blade spinning above the water), plus replacement skirts and blades for home tiers. Weights span from 7 g (perch) to 28 g+ (big pike).
