The shore-gathering rake is the harvest tool on soft sand for buried shellfish (clams, venus, smooth clams). Wider than the claw, it covers a significant area in few passes — ideal for long harvest sessions on sand foreshore at low tide.
You will find hand rakes (without handle, for foot harvesting), short-handle rakes (60 to 80 cm, semi-stooped), long-handle rakes (1.20 to 1.50 m, upright), rakes with sized teeth (calibrated tooth gap to capture only adult shellfish), and combined rake-claws (two tools in one).
This section is entirely composed of the Flashmer range.
