The bichette is the small short-handle net specific to shrimp fishing in pools and under rocks on rocky foreshore at low tide. More compact than the havenet (which works upright on sand foreshore), the bichette is the targeted-prospecting tool for crevices, hollows, zones inaccessible to large nets.
You will find traditional Breton bichettes (metal frame + fine plastic mesh, 50 to 80 cm short handle), modern bichettes with demountable frame (bag transport), telescopic bichettes for reaching deep crevices, and replacement parts (net only). Diameters span 25 cm to 50 cm.
This section is entirely composed of the Flashmer range.
