The lure knife is the very specific tool for razor-clam fishing (solen marginatus, the long thin shellfish vertically buried in sand). It works by pouring salt into the razor-clam's burrow (forcing it to surface to expel the salt), then quickly grabbing the shellfish before it dives back down.
You will find "lures" of various formats (handle-mounted salters, fast-pressure lures, sliding-spout models), matched harvest knives (for grabbing the razor-clam as it rises), and specific salts for razor-clam fishing (iodised coarse salt in handy bags).
This section is entirely composed of the Flashmer range.
