Baiting needles are the indispensable tool for cleanly hooking live baits (sea worms, sardines, squid) or rigged baits (hair-rigged boilies for carp). A good needle avoids unnecessary damage to the bait (loss of olfactory attraction) and lets you mount complex hair or loop rigs.
