Sliders are parts that move freely on the main line and allow the lead or float to slide between two stops. The sliding rig is useful for deep-water fishing (the lead slides to the bottom, freeing the hook at the bite depth), for predator dead-bait fishing, or for feeder fishing.
You will find lead sliders (with axial or radial outlet), float sliders (with or without extra eye), connecting-ring sliders (for heavy leaders), and specific sliders (carp boilie rig, English feeder rig). Internal diameters span from 1 mm (fine rigs) to 6 mm (big surf leads, deep-water fishing).
