The weighted cage jig is specifically designed for catching large red squid.

The cage opens and closes quickly and easily, accommodating all types of baitfish (sardines, mackerel, horse mackerel, etc.).

It features an ultra-sturdy XL basket designed to withstand the strength of large red squid. The sharp hooks even have barbs to prevent the fish from escaping!

Thanks to its attachment ring located on the underside, the weighted cage jig can accommodate an additional weight and/or a flashlight. By adding a sufficiently heavy weight, you can fish for red squid at night from a boat at depths of 100 m or even during the day at depths of over 400 m. Both the weight and the cage feature a phosphorescent coating that attracts squid from great distances. Its luminosity is even amplified tenfold when a flashlight is added!
