The Aurie-Q Search Double Glow is a squid jig featuring a body that emits dual phosphorescence at two different wavelengths (Double Glow® technology).
The green color emits at a wavelength of 520 nm, while the blue color emits at 488 nm.
This covers the entire visible light spectrum for cephalopods, doubling its effectiveness!
Rattles: Just like a swimming lure, this squid jig is equipped with rattles. The speed of sound in water is 4.4 times faster than in air. Japanese scientific studies have proven that cephalopods are attracted to sound waves produced at certain frequencies. The high-pitched sound of the small steel beads in the Aurie-Q Search Double Glow perfectly matches these wavelengths by replicating the crystal-clear sound produced by shrimp in the water.
