When he invented the very first finesse lure in the 1980s, Herb Reed had no idea that this lure would revolutionize the world of sport fishing.

Copied ever since by brands all over the world, the Fin's Fish is much more than just the first finesse lure ever invented.

It’s an absolute must-have!

As soon as you realize that shads aren’t working, bring out your Fin’s.
This finesse lure has a knack for getting fish to bite that seem to reject every other lure.
With flat sides and a distinctive V-shaped split tail, it lacks a vibration system and therefore swims with a natural, fluid motion.
It is essentially a “soft jerkbait” that responds to twitches by performing a “walking the dog” action underwater.

Its soft yet highly responsive texture amplifies sharp lateral movements at the slightest flick of the wrist.

The Fin’s is suitable for a wide range of setups
:- Weightles s or lightly weighted: Rigged with a simple Texas rig, weighted or unweighted on the shank, the split-belly models can be lightly weighted with Lunker City Insert Weights for action just below the surface.
- Fly fishing : Mounted on a light jig head (e.g., Vibr'action), the Fin's is retrieved fairly quickly with successive twitches in shallow water.
This is a rapid search technique that often triggers a reflex strike.
- Rockfishing/streetfishing : The 60 mm size is particularly popular with horse mackerel (severeaux) at sea and perch in freshwater.
- Drop shot : The 60 or 100 mm models are simply hooked through the nose onto an ODZ Weed Shot Hook or 3310 MARUTO hook, allowing for greater freedom of movement (“Nose rig”).
The 115 mm works best rigged on a Texas rig, typically resulting in a self-hooking strike.
- Wando : Paired with a swimming jig head (Vibr'action or Slug Head), the Fin’s acts like a soft jerkbait when jerked in short bursts from the bottom toward the surface. Excellent for sea bass or pollock .
- Jigging or twitching : Rigged on a leader as a teaser in front of a jig or a heavy Flashmer spoon, it should be twitched or retrieved quickly over 10–15 meters. Formidably effective on pollock and sea bass hiding in structures (wrecks, rock ledges, etc.).
