Complete trolling line, ready to fish. Mounted on a floating foam swivel. Total length: +/- 40 m. Composition: +/- 25 m of braided line, 1 swivel, and a sinker weighing approximately 200 g (included) with 1 m of 80/100-pound-test breakaway nylon, 10 m of 60/100-pound-test nylon after the swivel, an anti-twist swivel connecting the 50/100 leader consisting of 5 mackerel lures (hook size 1/0), a 2 m 50/100 nylon leader with a Flashmer Triplebar 20T spoon (triple hook size 4).

Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the line holder. Attach the trolling line to the boat: jerks in the line indicate a catch.

A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. By varying the boat’s speed, you can fish at different depths.

If you get a bite, reel the trolling line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...) An easy and fun fishing activity to enjoy with the family, where you’ll catch mackerel, garfish, sea bass, pollock...

Stay clear of buoys and other boats, and anticipate changes in direction.
