Leaders are pre-cut, finished line sections (eyes, sleeves, snaps) intended to be tied between the main line and the lure or hook. Buying ready-made leaders saves rigging time, guarantees knot quality, and lets you have several configurations (strength, length) ready to adapt to conditions.
You will find fluorocarbon leaders for lure fishing (lengths 50 cm to 3 m, diameters 20 to 100/100), nylon leaders for coarse fishing and surfcasting (lengths 30 cm to 5 m), single-strand or cabled wire leaders for pike and pelagics (with pre-crimped sleeves), and fluo signal leaders for competition fishing.
