Pre-tied feather rigs, sabikis and ready-mounted lure lines are multi-hook rigs ready to fish, devastating for forage-fish fishing (mackerel, horse mackerel, sardines) and used for decades on French coasts. The principle: several dressed hooks (feathers, mylar, fluorescent) spaced along a weighted leader, mimicking a moving school of small fish.
You will find traditional Breton feather rigs (natural feathers, stainless hooks), sabikis (synthetic fluorescent materials, crimped on fluoro), Mediterranean mackerel rigs, and specific rigs (freshwater predators, weighted zander rigs). Lengths range from 1.50 m to 4 m depending on hook count.
