Luminous floats are designed for night fishing, especially in surf and inshore saltwater: they include a starlite holder or an internal lighting system that makes the float visible at several dozen metres in the dark. The angler keeps reading bites as in daylight.

You will find starlite-holder floats (compatible with 3 to 6 mm luminous sticks) for surf and inshore saltwater fishing, autonomous LED floats (replaceable battery) for conditions where a starlite isn't enough (high wind, rain), luminous bombettes for night lure fishing, and shore floats for conger and sea bass at nightfall.
