The casting bubble is a translucent floating device that fills partially with water to adjust its weight — the alternative to a fly rod for fishing wet flies and nymphs with a standard casting rod. The portion of water in the bubble determines working depth and casting reach.
You will find classic bubbles (spherical, single-orifice, 5 to 30 ml capacity), directional bubbles (elongated shape, more accurate casting), bubbles with built-in ballast (rigging time gain, more powerful casting), plus models specific to freshwater trout and chub fishing, or to coastal surface fishing.
This section is led by Jet Bull, complemented by the Flashmer range.
