Building on all the swimming qualities of the legendary Pin’s Minnow, the Pin’s Minnow Sinking offers the advantage of sinking.

It can thus handle even stronger currents, such as those encountered early in the season in rivers swollen by heavy rains or spring thaw.
It also swims deeper, allowing for effective fishing in deeper rivers such as mountain streams or lowland rivers.

Since this model is heavier, its greater casting distance allows for more extensive coverage of wide rivers and enables you to work areas that other minnows could not reach.

The Pin’s was specifically designed in Japan for “ayus” (trout).
Its very slender silhouette, reminiscent of a finesse lure, makes it a minnow ideally suited for the strongest currents.
It proves perfect for fishing fast-moving waters, even when fishing ¾ downstream.
Offering great swimming stability, it will work all the water currents with precision without ever coming off the hook.

While a simple linear retrieve is enough to catch fish, a few well-placed, short, light tugs will often make all the difference.

With a shallow dive, it will easily glide over riffles or large, smooth sections with a high rod, even in very shallow water.
Its tight rolling action is fairly discreet, which is an advantage when targeting salmonids that are often spooked by overly intense vibrations.

With its tapered profile, it perfectly mimics the fry and other minnows that trout feed on.

It allows you to effectively cover a lot of ground in wide areas such as mountain streams or lowland rivers.
It will be particularly effective on trophy-sized trout, as well as on perch, chub, and many other predatory fish.

Note: This lure features two clear-sounding rattling balls, one of which serves as a weight transfer mechanism for optimized casting.
