The Yo-Zuri Hydro Monster Shot is a minnow jig with record-breaking density.

Combined with its streamlined, aerodynamic shape, it was designed to achieve exceptional casting distances! Thanks to its unique profile and protruding lower lip, this lure offers a wide range of swimming actions.

With a simple straight retrieve, it moves in a very undulating S-shaped swimming action. With a low center of gravity, it sinks horizontally while oscillating on its axis and alternately presenting each side. This pronounced rolling action on the descent, mimicking a dying prey, is extremely attractive to all predators! At the slightest twitch, it makes a sharp lateral movement, and with a series of jerks, it can even swim in a “walking the dog” pattern underwater.

When worked with faster tugs just below the surface, it sometimes even breaks the surface like a fleeing fish. With its long casting distance, it’s perfect for reaching hard-to-access areas (e.g., rock outcrops) or for staying at a safe distance from a hunt! It will also be appreciated by beach anglers (e.g., tidal pools) or anyone fishing rocky shores (cliff-side shore jigging).

Ultra-dense, this lure can be cast easily to impressive distances—even with the heaviest lines (e.g., up to 50/80 lb).
