Thanks to its long tail, the 3DB Shad quickly dives to a depth of 1.8 meters, allowing you to target fish in the lower water columns.
Its tight, powerful swimming action and high sides displace a massive volume of water, producing strong vibrations even with a simple, linear cranking retrieve.
Once it reaches its swimming depth, you can also take advantage of its ability to hover during pauses to alternate jerks and pauses, thereby provoking predators lurking on the bottom.

The tail hook is equipped with ultra-bright Mylar filaments that serve as a strike point for the predator, thereby reducing hook-ups. Their reflections mimic those of scales floating around a dying fish, increasing its attractiveness even when it remains suspended during pauses.

A plump, deep-diving jerkbait that will be very useful when the water is still cold and predators are less active near the bottom.
It will also be perfect for targeting large trout in deep rivers.
Like all lures in the Yo-Zuri DB series, the 3 DB Pencil Popper combines two highly innovative technologies:
- 3D PRISM FINISH: the lure features an internal holographic film that diffracts light into multiple colors. Unlike lures with an external coating, this one reflects numerous multi-directional flashes while offering the advantage of never being damaged by strikes or hook friction.
- WAVE MOTION BELLY: the lure features grooves on its belly. As it swims, the flow of water over its surface creates micro-vortices that emit attractive vibrations.
