The 3DB Pencil Popper combines a very tight "walking the dog" action with a "splasher" effect.
With its angled position on the water, it performs lateral darts almost in place with disconcerting ease.
Thanks to its truncated nose that strikes the water’s surface with every stroke, it splits, sending up powerful splashes. This “walking the dog” and “splashing” action is extremely effective on all predators.
With its streamlined, aerodynamic body and massive steel ball serving as a weight transfer, the 3DB Pencil Popper is surely one of the topwater lures capable of the longest casting distances.
Ideal for shore fishing or reaching areas that are dangerous to approach. This heavy, very loud ball emits powerful low-frequency vibrations that attract predators from significant distances.

Very easy to work with the “walking the dog” technique, capable of record-breaking casts, and featuring an impressive sound, the 3DB Pencil Popper is ideal for all freshwater and saltwater fishing.

Like all lures in the Yo-Zuri DB series, the 3DB Pencil Popper combines two highly innovative technologies:
-3D PRISM FINISH: the lure features an internal holographic film that diffracts light into multiple colors. Unlike lures with an external coating, this one reflects numerous multidirectional flashes while offering the advantage of never being damaged by strikes or hook friction.
-WAVE MOTION BELLY: the lure features grooves on its belly. As it swims, the flow of water over its surface creates micro-vortices that emit attractive vibrations.
