Well known among black bass enthusiasts, this small popper is surprisingly effective.

With its concave throat, it creates a loud “pop” accompanied by a swirl of bubbles. The lure’s fluorescent skirt enhances its appeal with its flashy effects. The recommended retrieve for this lure: a slow retrieve from left to right, to trigger the fish’s interest with the sound it produces. The slower the retrieve, the better the Hula Popper’s chance of enticing fish out from under cover.
