Complete trolling rig with a spreader bar, ready to fish.

Mounted on a wooden reel with a cork strip to secure the hooks (the line is attached to the reel).

Total length: +/- 60 m.

Composition:
+/- 50 m of braided line, 1 100 g spreader bar connected by a snap swivel, 5 m of 60/100 nylon after the spreader, an anti-twist swivel connecting the 60/100 leader consisting of 5 No. 2/0 "bar lures," a 2 m leader of 60/100 nylon with an 11 cm blue sand eel (No. 1/0 hook).

Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the line holder. By adjusting the boat’s speed, you can vary the depth at which the line swims; the faster you go, the closer the trolling line will rise to the surface. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient.

If you get a bite, reel the trolling line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)
