Complete trolling line, ready to fish.

Mounted on a wooden reel with a cork strip to secure the hooks (the line is attached to the reel).

Total length: +/- 60 m.

Composition: +/- 50 m of braided line, 1 black nickel swivel, 1 Japanese leader, 10 m of 60/100 nylon beyond the swivel, an anti-twist swivel connecting the 60/100 leader consisting of 5 "fingerlings" with a #1/0 hook, a 2-meter 50/100 nylon leader with a 17-cm black-backed sand lance (hook #3/0). Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the reel. Attach the trolling line to the boat: tugs on the line indicate a catch. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. If you get a bite, reel the trolling line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)

Usage:

Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and make sure it is securely attached to the swivel. Attach it to the boat and troll until the float rises to the surface (splashing), which indicates a catch. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. If you catch a fish, reel the line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)
