Weighing between 1 and 2 grams, the Snap Beans is
perfectly suited to the specific techniques of ultra-light fishing. Although
small in size, the density of this sinking lure, combined with its
internal ball that acts as a weight transfer mechanism, allows
for long casting distances. With its round shape, it
does not veer off course in flight and can be cast with great
precision. This true “water flea” can thus be placed
within a centimeter of the target spot with an underhand cast, which is
essential with this highly delicate technique.
In ultra-light fishing, each spot must be thoroughly
prospected. These spots can vary depending on the waterway.
Focus on spots located under vegetation cover, near
submerged branches, steep banks, or any calm areas
behind a rock. Running your lure along the banks
or through areas where the current breaks is also recommended. By
precisely targeting each promising spot with short casts, this
form of “power fishing” is particularly effective!
