The Jighead Swimmer is a shad mounted on a hyper-realistic jighead. It features a frame equipped with two treble hooks designed not to restrict the shad’s swimming action. The first treble hook is located under the head, and the second is positioned in the middle of the belly for optimal hooking of the fish at the slightest bite. The specific balance of the jighead with its hook setup gives the Jighead Swimmer a very stable swimming action and makes it look even more realistic. This jighead also enhances the shad’s natural rolling action—and thus its attractiveness.
Available in 15g and 23g, the Jighead Swimmer is a shad with a powerful swimming action that is ideal for the straight retrieve technique or for light trolling in shallow areas. Its rigging with two treble hooks also makes it perfect for targeting bonito or any fish with sharp teeth (horse mackerel, barracuda, etc.) that are usually difficult to catch with a shad.
