Fluorocarbon has become the unmissable leader in modern fishing: its refractive index close to water makes it nearly invisible in clear water, its abrasion resistance surpasses standard nylon, and it sinks (denser than water), making it ideal for bottom rigs and slow-lure presentations.
You will find fluorocarbon leaders for lure fishing (10/100 to 50/100, diameter chosen by target species), surfcasting fluorocarbons (40 to 100/100, on long spools), specialised fluorocarbons (trolling, big-game) in heavy diameters, plus tinted fluoros (pink, green) for specific applications. Lengths range from 25 m (leader spools) to 100 m+ (full main line).
