A square-shaped dragnet featuring a sturdy metal frame and a green nylon net with 8 mm mesh.

Attached via a line to the central ring (e.g., line on a Flashmer swivel), it is lowered into the water from an overhanging position such as a harbor pier, a bridge railing, a rocky cliff, etc.

Bait or groundbait can be placed in its center or cast once the trap is in the water. When quickly retrieved, it will capture fish or crustaceans found between it and the surface.

Ideal for quickly catching fish such as smelt, mullet, sardines, flounder, sole, whiting, hake, eels, etc. Its 8 mm mesh also allows you to catch crustaceans (shrimp, crabs, etc.).
