The Octopus is available in a range of eye-catching colors. Made from a lively, flexible material, it is nonetheless durable enough to withstand the bites of predators. Its tentacles feature undulations that create additional vibrations as it swims. Its elongated, tapered profile and small size resemble a squid in its larval stage—one of the essential links in the predatory fish food chain.This high-quality octopus can be used as a teaser above a heavy lure (soft plastic lure, jig, madai, inchiku, etc.). Attached to the hook of a lure (casting jig, plug, etc.) or to an assist hook on a jig, it will help the fish target its strike. Positioned in front of a bait, it will greatly enhance the attractiveness of your surfcasting rigs—especially on flat areas. It can also be used successfully in freshwater for predatory fish with a spoon-shaped sinker.
