The surfcasting tripod is the indispensable beach support for keeping 2 to 5 rods simultaneously above the sand and wash, while respecting local rules on line count. A good tripod resists wind and spray, sets up quickly even at night, and stays stable despite soft sand or shingle.

You will find 3-rod tripods for moderate fishing (compact, light, easy transport), 4-rod tripods for standard fishing (medium size, versatile), 5-rod tripods for intensive fishing and long sessions (more bulk but great comfort), and specific tripods (for rocks, for pond banks, for piers). Heights span 1.20 m to 2.00 m by model.
