Spinning reels equip the overwhelming majority of lure rigs and nearly all light surfcasting: their design (fixed spool, rotating bail) makes them tolerant to fine braid, easy to handle for a beginner, and reliable over time. This section gathers our spinning reels in every size, from 500 ultra-light to 30,000 dedicated to extreme shore jigging.
You will find common sizes (1000 to 4000) for freshwater lure fishing, trout and bass, sizes 4000 to 6000 for sea bass and pike on heavy spinning, sizes 8000 to 14000 for shore jigging and precision surfcasting, and sizes 18000+ for inshore pelagics. Drags are systematically annotated (linear, sealed, kg capacity) for an informed choice.
