The Explorer Fireball is a heavy jig head specifically designed to be used with live bait (fish, squid, etc.).
Its round shape cuts through currents perfectly and allows it to remain vertical despite drifting.
It features an ultra-strong forged iron hook (3X) with a needle-point barb.
With a short shank and a wide gape, this ultra-strong “tractor hook” will allow you to fight the biggest fish.
The head of this fireball features a rear-mounted ring underneath, allowing you to add a stinger.
This rig, equipped with one or two hooks, is designed to effectively rig the largest live baits.
Recessed above the head, the attachment ring is a high-quality ball-bearing swivel ensuring ultra-smooth rotation—thus preventing twisting issues.
Extremely robust, it can withstand battles with the most powerful fish.
The oversized, wide-slit eye is made of a holographic film whose reflections are visible from great distances.
The two-tone, crackle-effect colors on the head play on color contrasts for maximum teaser effect.
The Explorer Fireball’s high density makes it easy to spot on the fish finder, allowing anglers to place the live bait exactly where they want it with the utmost precision.
This makes it possible to follow the bottom contours closely or present the live bait right at the level of a promising echo.
In freshwater, it is perfect for provoking catfish right in the heart of their hiding spots by presenting a fish just under their noses.
Paired with a live squid, it is exceptionally effective at sea for bottom-dwelling predators (snappers, sea bream, red seabream, etc.) when presented right next to the rocks.
When placed in open water, it will attract all pelagic predators such as amberjack, tuna, swordfish, etc.
