The Metalzon SSD series is a line of casting and spinning rods specifically designed for squid fishing using the tataki method, with all your drop-shot jig setups (e.g., drop shot, branko, etc.), with a weighted jig, or for working a heavy egi squid vertically from the boat using the bichi bachi technique (tip run eging).
