Weight-loaded trolling line.
Mounted on a floating foam swivel. Total length: approx. 40 m.
Composition: +/- 25 m of braided line, 1 sliding swivel designed to hold a sinker of approximately 200 g (not included), 10 m of 70/100 nylon after the swivel, an anti-twist swivel connecting a 5 m leader made of 50/100 nylon with 6 cm Shamalo jigs, and a 5 m leader made of 50/100 nylon with an 11 cm lip jig.
Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the swivel.
Weight the line by connecting the sinker and the rotor with a piece of nylon (which will break) in case of snags.
Attach the trolling line to the boat: tugs on the line indicate a catch. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. By varying the boat’s speed, you can fish at different depths.
When you get a bite, reel the line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)
An easy and fun fishing activity to enjoy with the family, where you’ll catch cuttlefish and squid... Stay clear of buoys and other boats, and anticipate changes in direction.
Safety: Sharp hooks; handle with care. Wearing gloves is recommended. Keep out of reach of children.
Care: Rinse with fresh water and let dry.
