The Meiji Explorer Tackle has the profile of a slow jig and offers all the same swimming characteristics.
Its action is therefore much slower than that of a classic casting jig.
We recommend that you space out your twitches and give the line slack between each pull so that it makes the longest possible sideways run.
Don’t hesitate to pause between each pull, because when the Meiji finishes its horizontal jerk to the side, it drifts back flat, wobbling on its axis while fluttering strongly like a dead leaf.
This phase of its swim is extremely attractive to predators because it simulates a tired or dying small fish, which makes for easy prey. This exceptional density is a real advantage when targeting fish.
Casting Jig Explorer comes pre-rigged with a Single Assist and a single round hook.
Fast retrieve punctuated by pauses, sinking like a dead leaf. A casting jig that falls between a classic jig and a slow jig.
The back of the jig is phosphorescent.
Target fish: Perch, Sea Bass, Small Tuna, Dentex, Amberjack, Wahoo...
