The JigForce SSD series is Tailwalk’s brand-new line of rods designed for all types of boat jigging—from mid-depths to deep waters.
This series stands out for its exceptional lightness relative to its power, allowing anglers to fight even the strongest fish.
With this range, Tailwalk has completely redesigned its rods, making them as light as possible while maintaining the same power ratings. The result: none of the spinning models weigh more than 190 g, and the casting models do not exceed 195 g.
The JigForce SSDs are characterized by a smooth yet fast progressive action. Unlike overly stiff jigging rods, this smooth action gives your jigs a better swimming action while providing great comfort during handling. Ideal for long speed jigging sessions—including with heavy jigs at great depths!
A must-have for targeting prime spots (drop-offs, wrecks), pelagic species (bonito, yellowtail, swordfish, etc.), or large predatory snappers (striped seabream, red seabream, etc.). These short rods are also perfect for live bait fishing.
Highly ergonomic, the Fuji reel seats (DPS-LD and TCS-LD) provide an optimal grip and enhance your comfort—both during the retrieve and the fight.
You’ll notice that the offset joint (butt + tip) preserves the blank’s progressive action without any weak points.
