Mounted on a wooden reel with a cork strip to secure the hooks (the line is attached to the reel). Total length: +/- 60 m.
Composition:
approx. 50 m of braided line, 1 leader attached via a snap swivel, 5 m of 60/100 nylon beyond the board, an anti-twist swivel connecting the leader consisting of 5 No. 2/0 hooks with an assortment of highly effective lures for mackerel, a 2 m leader of 50/100 nylon with a mackerel spoon (No. 1/0 treble hook).
Usage:
Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the swivel. Secure it to the boat and troll until the float rises to the surface (splashing), indicating a catch. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. If you get a bite, reel the line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)
An easy and fun fishing activity to enjoy with the family, where you’ll catch mackerel, garfish, sea bass, ... Stay clear of buoys and other boats and anticipate changes in direction.
