Complete trolling line, ready to fish.
Mounted on a foam reel. Total length: +/- 40 m.
Composition:
- Approx. 25 m of braided line,
- 1 100 g spreader bar connected by a snap swivel,
- 10 m of 70/100 nylon after the paravan,
- an anti-twist swivel connecting a 135 cm leader in 60/100 consisting of 3 white bar feathers and 2 red/yellow bar feathers in size 2/0,
- a 2 m nylon leader (50/100) with a mackerel spoon (No. 1/0 treble hook).
Usage:
Unroll the trolling line as you lower it into the water and check that it is securely attached to the line holder. Secure it to the boat and troll until the paravane rises to the surface (splashing), indicating a catch.
By adjusting the boat’s speed, you can vary the depth at which the line swims; the faster you go, the closer the trolling line will rise to the surface. A speed of 2 to 3 knots is sufficient. When you have a catch, reel the line back to the boat and unhook your catch (being careful not to get everything tangled up...)
An easy and fun fishing activity to enjoy with the family, where you’ll catch mackerel, garfish, sea bass, pollock... Stay clear of buoys and other boats, and anticipate changes in direction.
Rinse your gear thoroughly with fresh water after fishing. This will help it last longer. Wind the entire line onto its spool for your next outing.
Warning: Sharp
hooks: Keep out of reach of children.
